Seeing as I gave this book a 4 out of 5, I’d say this book
is definitely worth the time to read. People should care this book for many
reasons. This book doesn’t only make someone think about their life and what’s
actually true, but it also gets them thinking about how they affect others and
how they can influence people. Day influences June to second guess her government
and the Republic, which also causes someone like me to look at the government
and think if the government is actually good, or corrupt. Legend also looks at
real world problems and why people actual do things. June stereotypes all of
the people who live in the slums as filthy and undeserving, but when she meets
Day she is completely wrong. Day is selfless and is totally deserving of a
better life. People in real life shouldn’t stenotype all people because they’ll
be wrong more than half the time.
